Super Fish Tank Page
In Sept 2002 I bought a 55 gallon fish tank. Over the past few months I have had a few different kinds of critters, most have died for one reason or another. I have gone through, 3 fiddler crabs, 1 crawdad, 1 bass (released), and 5 goldfish (3 flushed and 2 are in the icebox). All I have left is an angry goldfish that thinks he is a shark, a timid bluegill, and a bass that has an appetite like I have never seen.
The bass will eat a dozen guppies a day If I let him. I try to watch his weight so I feed him every two days. When I drop the guppies in the tank, they are literally gone with in 2 hours! The camera doesn't do it justice but this bass's stomach gets huge. It looks like the bass has swallowed a golf ball. The bass is so full, he can barely swim and sits at the bottom of the tank.. In fact yesterday, I dumped 4 dozen guppies in the tank, and by 10pm that night I had to take 2 dozen guppies out because I was afraid the bass was going to die he had eaten so much! PIG!
Here are a few movies from the latest feeding frenzy! >>>> Here's piggy! Lipper! And now for desert! 2 Bass
