NEW ZEALAND

Between Dec 1999-Jan 2000, myself and 3 friends rented a motor home and cruised around New Zealand for 3 weeks.

Our first night in New Zealand. After driving all day it was time to pull off the road in Taupo, NZ and have a couple drinks.

Here we are the next day bright eyed, bushy tailed and ready for our 3 week adventure.

The monsterous Franz Joseph glacier.

After a long day, parking it on the beach and having a campfire sounds like a great idea.

Boggie hanging on for dear life as he ascends Franz Joseph.

We were a little short on wood on the beach so we decided to throw a tree in the fire. Now that's a fire!

Boggie staring down 90 Mile Beach at the very northern tip of NZ.

Here is our bird. This chopping took us to the glacier where we began our glacier hike.

Here we are enjoying the ride!

We are now at Stewart's Island which is the very southern most point in NZ.

Here is our first scuba dive spot just outside Auckland. It was beautiful!

Doug is doing donuts on the beach. This is right before we got stuck in the sand.

Doug is taking a swim. It's crazy cold out.

Here I am atop the Sky Tower in Auckland looking down through a glass floor.

We chartered a boat with Capt. Ahab for a for a full day of deep sea fishing. Of course I caught the most.

Here we sit freezing at midnight on the frozen ferry from the North Island to the South Island.

Seizing the day atop Franz Joseph

We met these people our last night in New Zealand, they were kind enough to let us stay at their place and cook us a huge BBQ to see us off.

Here we are at the base of Franz Joseph.

A nice little cove on Stewarts Island. Looks nice but is it very cold.

Kick ass day off roading in Queenstown. One of the funnest things I have ever done.

One fine day on one of the many beautiful beaches in NZ.

Sunset on the beach.

Christmas Eve at the Owen's River Saloon. Oh yeah, what kind of face am I making?

My first 20 minutes in NZ. Doug and I are chillin' in the back of the MPU as they wisk me away from the airport in Auckland.

What a day!

We rented scooters in Stewart's Island for a couple hours and cruised.

Sober?

One of many great sunsets seen while in NZ.
